Biography
Philippe Cardou has been a professor of mechanical engineering since 2007, specializing in robotics. His interests lie in the mechanical design of manipulator robots and mechanisms in general. He is constantly striving to generate new robot architectures that, for example, can reach larger workspaces, react more quickly to their environment, or are more easily transportable. In this respect, he is particularly interested in parallel cable robots and grippers, which are often used as robot end-effectors.
